Katie 
Springer

My name is Katie Springer. I hold a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from Athens State University and am currently pursuing an MFA in Theatre Education at Mississippi University for Women. My passion for theatre extends beyond performance. I am dedicated to inspiring the next generation of artists through both education and community engagement.

My experience spans acting, directing, and technical theatre. On stage, I have performed in Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Heathers: The Musical (Heather McNamara), Little Women (Amy), and Tick, Tick… Boom! (Karessa) just to name a few. As a director, I have led productions of 21 Chump Street, Our Town, Grease, and Junie B. Jones Jr at both the college and high school levels and in community theatre. I also bring hands-on experience in stage management, costuming, and production design.

My goal is to continue making a positive impact in theatre, both on and off stage, by nurturing young artists and contributing to the vibrant performing arts community.
